Theme: Old trams of Lisbon - I

To see: map view and Group themes:Tram, funiculars and lift of Lisbon , my favorite theme of Lisbon :)

Tram Routes - Lisbon

The tram network is made up of 5 routes, 3 funiculars (Glória, Bica and Lavra) and 1 lift (Santa Justa).

The network has 59 trams, 10 of them articulated (operating on the 15 route between Algés and the Praça da Figueira), 9 light and 40 traditional.

The tram network covers the 48kms of the city of Lisbon, with 13 of these on dedicated lines.

Hello Filipe,

The racing of tram cars.... Your point of view is very good, as being in the center of the two tram cars. It would have been nice to blur the background and just have the two tram cars in focus, but the overall composition is good.

I have been to Lisbon on many occasions but have never been on a tram car - I will ride one when I return back in April.

Está bonita em cores e em composição mas parece-me inclinada para a direita. A nota é muito boa, cheia de informação muito interessante.

Já tenho andado para fazer uma foto deste género, mas estou sempre à espera de eléctricos sem publicidade...
Esta ficou boa, parece que vão em competição, um a ultrapassar o outro. O terceiro a "espreitar" também está interessante.

The trams in Lisbon inspire a lot of photographers.
Good frame, attractive photo.
In my opinion, you should take more photos of the trams, it's a very rich subject.

Your gallery certainly is a good advert for Portugal. You have some nice shots. This one I like particularly because you've captured these old trams so full of character. The image is nice and sharp and the front of the trams adds a splash of colour to the stone coloured background. Nice work.

I like this picture because the two trams seem to be competing , each one with the colours of a different club (let's say Coca-cola against Tofa). The colours are natural and the image is typical from Lisbon. I will add this picture in the theme "tramways".

Hello Filipe,

This is a very interesting picture of a common subject which I didn't know it could look this good! Although this place isn't very animated, the colorful trams add some life to it! Basically the composition is good but I have one question: why didn't you rotate the picture so that the buildings will stand vertically and the horizon horizontally? Otherwise I have nothing to add! The rest was very well done! Thank you!

A nice photo with 3 trams. A good POV and framing. Lisbon is one of the capitals in Europe, which still have a tram network. Our capital Helsinki also has one (12 lines, 84.5 km).
