Cruise ship in Alfama, a photo from Lisboa, Sud

Photographer's Note

From the "Miradouro das Portas do Sol", in Lisbon, the sight on Alfama's Neighborhood and the roofs of its houses is gorgeous.
In this photo I tried to catch the nice graphical effect of the red roofs, the contrast created by the white architecture of the "Igreja de São Estevão", and the presence of a cruise ship in the "Doca do Jardim do Tabaco".

The a bit cloudy day was offering myself a very interesting light and a few very soft colors.

Desde el Miradouro das Portas do Sol, en Lisboa, la vista sobre el Barrio de Alfama y los tejados de sus casas es magnífica.
En esta foto intenté captar el bonito efecto gráfico de los tejados rojos, el contraste creado por la arquitectura blanca de la Igreja de São Estevão, y la presencia de un barco de crucero en la Doca do Jardim do Tabaco.

El día un poco nublado me ofrecía una luz muy interesante y unos colores muy suaves.

Amazing birdseyeview from Alfama. Very good pov and nice layout.
The bright brick colors oft he roofs creates a perfect effect.

J'aime beaucoup dans cette image le fait qu'en dépit des toits de couleur très vive, elle dégage une impression de grande douceur et délicatesse
peut-être grâce au contraste avec la mer et le ciel, très clairs tous les deux
C'est très agréable et bien composé avec tous ces toits qui descendent doucement vers la mer

Trè belle vue des toits de l'Alfama . J'aime le contraste des tuiles rouges , avec la mer et le ciel d'un doux gris bleuté . L'église et le paquebot constitue deux points d'accroche pour le regard .

The cloudy day has helped you bring out the color most effectively.Beautiful red and white combination with a bit of pink and yellow here and there. The inclusion of the cruise ship gives a nice depth. The image is very sharp and beautiful.

Hola Josep,

Peut-être pas une lumière à vous jeter en bas de votre chaise, mais quand même une lumière douce et fort agéable, et puis surtout une superbe vue et une photo admirablement bien composée. Le toit au premier plan donne de la profondeur et amène le regard vers ces jolis toits plus bas, et puis le paquebot qui amène le regard vers l'église (chanceux qu'il ait accosté côté bâbord!). Descriptif et plein d'éléments intéressants sur lesquels s'attarder.

Hola Josep,
Attractive view over the roofs of Lisbon with a beautiful alternation of the white facades and the red tiles.
The river and the sky are very light coloured which makes the city roofs stand out even more strong.
The church rises up impressive behind the many houses.
The huge ship is moored like a big monster :) This vessel is almost a world apart.

Davvero magnifica questa panoramica con a quale ci offri una splendida vista sui tetti rossi di Alfama. Ed altrettanto bello è vedere la chiesa alla fine di essi con accanto la nave da crociera perfettamente dritta :)). La qualitá è come sempre eccellente, perfetto è il controllo dei colori e la gestione della luce. Complimenti.

Très bonne composition donnant presque l'illusion que le paquebot est intégré dans le village!Le ciel légèrement couvert donne une lumière douce très agréable. Une photo de belle qualité!

Très belle ville plongeante sur la ville et de ses toits de tuiles de différents styles. Le navire est imposant.
J'aime ces immeubles et ces petites maisons, qui se pressent les unes contre les autres.

Bonjour Josep,
évidemment un des joyaux du Portugal, cette ville de Lisboa, belle avec ses toitures rouges, une ville très en relief, avec de la tradition à chaque clocher.
Clin d'oeil aussi au tourisme avec ce paquebot ancré.
Ca ne manque pas de profondeur.

Una composicion deliciosa, a la cual estos colores suaves dan un toque especial, que le va bien a esta ciudad, magnifico grafismo el de estos tejados rojos, que contrastan con los colores pastel de las fachadas, el trasatlantico da un toque especial a la imagen.
Muy bonito trabajo amigo mio, luz y colores suaves, todo bien controlado y un marco delicado, que armoniza de maravilla con el contenido.
Os deseo un buen inicio de semana, espero los bebes sigan bien y vosotros disfrutandolos.
Tambien espero ver alguna vista del fin de semana, con el fantastico sol y la nieve en la montaña estaria todo precioso, que envidia....

yes, it seems as if i must put Portugal on my travel map, its gotta be seen :)

its so much fun to view these rooftop views, especially because they have old architecture, with but the new satelite dishes :)
even from a distance, the Cruise liner dwarfs all the other subjects.
and looking around the town, i really like the splashes of pink and yellow color in the homes.

Olá Josep,

Magnifico este teu pov por cima dos telhados da baixa de Lisboa.
O Miradouro das Partas do sol é um local fantástico para observar o Rio Tejo e parte da Cidade de Lisboa. Local obrigatório para quem visita Lisboa.
Neste dia de Outono, com condições atmosféricas adversas tu consegues uma bela realização de cor e luminosidade.

Hay muchas fotos que no he visto, desde que no entro en TE, la verdad que no se cual elegir, todas son muy buenas como siempre. Me gustó esta por los tejados y la gran perspectiva con los tejados y del crucero. El contraste que dices en tu nota conseguido totalmente, debe ser un pueblo muy bonito de Lisboa. Gran trabajo!
