"Valuable examples of the constructions of the fishermen, the Haystacks, can be found in certain spots of the Portuguese Atlantic coast and in some places in the shores of Tejo and Sado rivers.
The specific case of these houses of Costa da Caparica is even more interesting, since several of them were brought over logs on the beach, pulled by teams of oxen, from Cova do Vapor, and there are reports of some transported from Dafundo Palheiros by barges."
