Esta é uma imagem de um pequeno barco de pesca que se encontra atracado na Baía do Seixal.
Como uma terra piscatória, o Concelho do Seixal foi evoluíndo ao longo dos tempos mantendo sempre uma estreira ligação com o rio Tejo, sendo atravês deste que todos os produtos como o peixe, os cereais, o sal, o óleo, o vinho, a fruta e outros materiais crus foram escoados para a capital e até exportados.

As a fishing land, the county of the Seixal was evolved along the times with a close linking to the river Tagus, therefore it was through this that all the products as the fish, cereals, salt, oil, wine, fruit and other raw materials were drained for the capital (Lisbon) and sometimes exported to the exterior.
