Photographer's Note
On Sunday meeting we visited very beautiful and unique palaces and castles of Sintra.
Aires already showed the main view of beautiful Palace of Regaleira . My version is slightly different. I am interested here less on the Palace itself but rather on the magnificent fern trees. Large ferns belonging to the family Dicksoniaceae are found growing in tropical and subtropical areas as well temperate rainforests in Australia, New Zealand, and other island groups nearby. I haven't seen them before (I have plans to see them in their natural habitat).
Quinta da Regaleira is an estate located near the historic center of Sintra, Portugal. It is classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO within the "Cultural Landscape of Sintra". Along with other palaces in this area (such as the Pena, Monserrate and Seteais palaces), it is one of the principal tourist attractions of Sintra. It consists of a romantic palace and chapel, and a luxurious park featuring lakes, grottoes, wells, benches, fountains, and a vast array of exquisite constructions.

Hello Malgorzata, Beautiful palace and lovely vegetation. You have done well placing them in the foreground as an entrance for the viewer's eye before they reach the palace. From what I can see through the tree limbs, it is very impressive building. BTW, the tree accentuates the palace as well. Great Job. Have fun. I envy you. Regards, Roger

Hi Maggie,
I like the placement of the church for a good composition, However there are two issues with it. One the tree branches cover too much of the church, I wonder if there a way to avoid it, two the light is very strong which is good the green is tiny bit too strong. Good sharpness and clarity.

Like on Aires' image the castle his hidden by the trees, but I like how these foreground plants raise the luminous impression by their greens
Have a nice day JY

Cześć
Wspaniały pałac, jest pzreśliczny w tym otoczeniu tropikalnej roślinności. Widać ,że wiosna , są już pączki na drzewach. Wspaniałe kolory i ostrość.

Hi Malgorzata,
A very impressive place and probably big enough for a TE meeting. How many TE members joined this meeting? Beautiful colours with the blue sky and the green vegetation. Beautiful weather too...
Happy Easter!

Witaj Malgosiu,
;o) w dodatku zielen wspaniale kontrastuje z blekitem nieba...
Pozdrawiam cieplo,
Andrzej

Witaj Malgorzata,
An another xeccelnt framing to a beautiful edifice. detaisl of the architectur very well collected. I like too the contrats and the ballance between the suoerb green of the vegetation nad the color of the edifice. The vegettaion in the Fg give a greta depht to the image.
Have a nice WE,
Roger

Hi dear Malgorzata,
Here are many nice hidden details again.
The capture is perfect in each photographic detail but the most interesting part for me is the bright fresh color of the typical local flora in the foreground. Which creates a nice contrast with the white color of the building.
Again nice and usefull notes.
TFS and happy Easter to you !
Best regards

Piękne kolory i niezwykły nastrój miejsca.
Pozdrawiam serdecznie,
Jurek

Hello!
This palace and quinta seems very interesting, but I didn't visit it yet.
I like also the ferns very much. We see them in other parts of Sintra, such as the palace/park of Monserrate.
Greetings,
Francisco
