Photographer's Note

I post this photo with great hesitation. It is a small part of a drastically cropped photo and not perfectly sharp, and that is why I keep it relatively small.

This is a view of some of the buildings along the river in the Ribeira district of Porto. It's taken from the upper level of the Dom Luís I bridge. The original photo was fairly uninteresting, but then I noticed this area which seemed to resemble a painting from the 1920's or 30's. I don't know which artist that could have made it. Maybe Paul Klee?

So I post this only because of the colours and shapes and try to disregard the lack of sharpness.

Two other cropped, "artistic" views of roofs, seen from the same bridge, will be shown in the workshop.
