The Aqueduct of água de Prata is on the list of 50 monuments of world interest by the World Monuments Fund, and has been a national monument since 1910 - It was built between 1532 and 1537, to carry water from the springs, in an extension of 18 km, to the city of Évora - Over the centuries, the aqueduct has undergone some changes between additions and demolitions, and is ennobled by some stretches of undeniable artistic and urban impact - On Rua do Cano, an emblematic place in the city, it was appropriated and merged by the houses - Évora is one of the cities with the greatest historical importance of the country, and is classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986 - video of the site at: https://youtu.be/WFW5hUjpSSc
