Photographer's Note
The first photo I post on TE was a night shot of this beautiful little castle at Porto de Mos. As you can see is this castle on daylight also amazing.
The Castle of Porto de Mós can be seen in any part of the town, due its big pointed green towers. Conquered to the Moors by D. Afonso Henriques in 1148, it would lately regain its palatial characteristics due to the intervention of D. Sancho I, D. Dinis and D. Afonso’s – Count of Ourém. After recovering the castle from the Moors King Sancho I had it restored, but much of it was again destroyed in the 1755 earthquake. Since then it has been restored on a number of occasions, most recently in 1956. From the castle there are magnificent panoramic views.

Hello Kik.
You have taken a nice technically sound, sensible safe shot of this castle. Far too boring. Far too static. Somehow you need to show us the castle in its environment a little better, give us a dramatic angle, give some depth to this very flat photo. Make us go "wow". You haven't managed to achieve that here.

Hi Kik,
I never saw this before. It's a very interesting architecture, good quality, its loneliness allows to appreciate it more.
