Photographer's Note
This was the 2de photo that i post at TE. ith wat i've learnd the last 6 months i repost it now differently. What did I change?
- i let the people on it so that you can get a idea of the castle scale;
- I had a bit of red to it and increase the gamma to get the colours better;
- I use Neat Image to get the noise out
- I add a frame
Do you think is improved?
Once the wedding present of a queen, the preserved medieval town of Óbidos lying 100 km north of Lisbon is without doubt one of Portugal's most classic walled settlements. Walking the ramparts, visitors can enjoy views of windmills, vineyards and surrounding farmlands. In the residential area below, narrow cobblestone streets are lined with whitewashed houses sporting terracotta roofs. Unfortunality is this town very tourist but stil a place that you have to see.

Hi Kik,
This second publication is much better. You were right to leave the people, that allows us to know the size of the place. Clearness is also better. For the remainder, I find the red component too present, is not natural. The idea of the framework is very good even if I find the white line too thick (a finer line is more harmonious). Good Sunday !

Hi Kik.
I do think it's improved. Great POV and colour. Good composition. Very beautiful. And having the people in it does help with scale. Well done.
Regards, Steve.

Hello Kik, I have seen lots of shots on TE of Obidos but never from this POV before.The composition is excellent.I like the walls leading our eyes to the tower;the buildings are sharp and full of detail.
You have done a good photojob imo.
TFS, regards Jean.

Hi Kiks!
You have created a very interesting image, putting on the same angle these differents buildings, and placing at the background the castle which rules almost the entire scene!
Well done!
Cheers

Hi Kik,
Clever compo here ! I love how the castle and rocks seem to 'hug' the little village like two arms would do it against the moutain background, not too harsh and white, yes this is very good looking and eyes catching.
Great
