Photographer's Note

I’m posting one more nativity scene of Monsaraz. Iike the others I’ve posted before, this one was also taken last year. Next week I’ll go there to see how it is this year, because it’s always a little different. This is another pov of the one I’ve posted before.
Every year this village recreates the Nativity scene using around 40 real size characters that are placed all through the village. You can find them in the most amazing places.
This year there will be big nativity scenes in several other towns,I hope to have the chance to visit a couple of them next week as I’ll be on holidays.

Olá Ana,
Esta tomada está espetacular, com estas figuras pela rua. É impressionante. Imagino de perto. A perspectiva da rua e as casas, de um lado na sombra, do outro lado iluminadas, está tudo muito artístico.

Muitissimo bem Ana, mas que foto tao surrealista, esta foto faz uma boa metafora no que se passa nas grandes cidades, as pessoas andam pelas ruas incognitamente apressadas, mal tem tempo pra dizer com licenca ou desculpe, nos as vemos mas nao as conhecemos, todos tem cara mas nao nos dizem nada, esta e a grande realidade das grandes cidades, acho que qualquer cara que vemos e extactamente como a tua foto ate que ao momento que as conhecemos por amigos ou encontros officiais, a partir dai essas caras passam a ter nome e feicoes.

Bom-dia Ana,
são mais verdadeiros que natureza estes personagens. São os únicos a assombrar a rua as pessoas assustados pelas suas faces brancas permanecem n eles. Bonita imagem.

Oi Ana!
A cena é surreal, graças às figuras sozinhas nas ruas. O POV taqmbém é ótimo e f/7.1 lhe proporcionou boa profundidade com focagem do primeiro ao último detalhe. Gosto também das cores e do contraste forte entre luz e sombra além da arquitetura. Uma beleza de foto!

Muito gira! Está de parabéns quem teve a ideia de pôr aquelas figuras nas ruas e a fotógrafa também, por as mostrar, mais à bela da vila. Como é hábito, excelente POV, luz, cores e nitidez.
Se calhar deste-me um pretexto para passar por lá um dia destes...

J'imagine que ce doit être impressionnant de découvrir ces personnages lorsque l'on visite cette ville - J'ai l'impression qu'elle doit être sympathique à visiter avec la rue à l'ancienne et ces maisons peintes en blanc - c'est une certaine douceur de vivre qui se dégage de cette photo - bravo - amicalement

one more great shot from the nativity scene of Monsaraz.I like as the previous one the sharpness the contrasted,vivid and clear colours.The cobblestone pavement create a great depth and i can say that the masking people are paused,they looks like statues.Marvellous.

Merci Ana pour ces nouvelles scènes de la crèche grandeur nature de Monsaraz! Elles seront toutes regroupées ensemble dans mon thème, si bien qu'on s'y croira!
C'est dommage que Noël est toujours ( avec bonheur quand même ) une période où l'on reste chez soi à célébrer Noël en famille! Sinon, c'est une visite que j'aurais aimé faire un jour! Durant quelle période exactement la reconstituent-ils?
J'espère que tu passes de joyeuses fêtes dans ta famille!

hi ana. THis street has a charm. it looks like a small but lovely neighborhood.I dont see many people walking around, so we can focus on the street and these pieces of art. lovely
