Photographer's Note

Not far from Brasov city,Rasnov Fortress was built about 800 years ago on a rocky hilltop, elevated at about 150m above in the small town of Rasnov.The fortress is on the Bran Pass, a trade route connecting Wallachia with Transylvania. It is one of the biggest rural fortresses in the country and has been restored to it's former glory.

Hi Alin,
I guess this is probably a view that a conqueror would have had of this impregnable fortress. Myself i would have turned around and gone back home instead... A very impressive view and picture1

Hello Alin, This is an enormous structure and looks like no one could ever invade this place without lots of bombs. Very impressive building and it is good to hear that they have restored the building. Interesting rock wall and looks in reasonably good shape as well. Delightful to see these shots of Romania. This is a nice low POV for this shot. The low POV gives the castle a dominating appearance. The wall in the foreground creates a nice border for the shot. The castle stands out nicely against the blue sky. The lighting and colors are fine and the photo has great sharpness.

Bunã dimineaþa.
Acest þãrãneºti fortificate castel magnific. Am fost acolo acum doi ani ºi a ridicat în admiraþia mea. Compoziþie excelent, culori ºi o mare claritate perfecta. Am postat foarte asemãnãtoare cu imaginea TE.

Hello Alin,
It's a nice presentation of the Rasnov Fortess taken from the low angle. The blue sky made an excellent background. Good colors, light and sharpness.
