The RASNOV FORTRESS is not far away from the world famous Bran Castle (a.k.a. Dracula's castle) and only about 15km away from Brasov city. It is situated on a hill overlooking the medieval town of Ransov.

I just love this photo. Really. The colors, the subject (which is fascinating) and the POV. Now I want to drink there. And I thought that Ceausescu had flattened the whole of Romania and replaced it with nasty buildings. Perhaps I should visit your country?
