Photographer's Note
This is the restaured National Theater of Bucharest. The original modern building was erected in 1973 but it was a bit too modern for the Communist Party's tastes so they covered the facades to get a completely different design. The extensive renovations from 2012 restored its original daring design by removing the curtain walls that were previously installed to simply mask the exterior.
This modern re-discovered building is in the "modern"/brutalist style and proves to be a popular spot for students and generally its park and terrace are a popular youth hangout.
