Photographer's Note

Royal Church is a major tourist attraction for tourists not only Orthodox Christians. This church built by King Carol I and Queen Elizabeth is located across the street from the Busteni station.
At the end of a beautiful yard, This church is a place of prayer for tourists arriving at logs all over the country. Although the church is big enough Domneasta, in the night and the court again until it is full to the brim.
So it is a shame not to go at least once this threshold place of worship, especially if you choose to spend your time in the mountains in logs.
Built in the shape of a cross by Piero Dreossi, Logs Royal Church was consecrated on 8 September 1889 wearing patron Virgin Birth. The inauguration was attended by King Charles I and Prince Ferdinand .

Wooden iconostasis church in logs at the time was considered the most beautiful in the country. Icons of 12 Saints, works of painter Gh. Tatarescu are hallmarks of this church.

Cornices and vaulted nave cap are made of stained glass, and paintings in the narthex of the church founders are: And if Regele Carol Regina Elisabeta.

Besides architecture and paintings made with great craftsmanship, the Royal Church of logs can admire wood furniture.
Agnes Exner was the painter who first realized all the designs that are found in this church. Over time the paintings were damaged, Telenti requiring Romanian painter Gheorghe Belizarie, in anul 1934, for the entire church painted in oil.

Very informative note to introduce this original and also beautiful capture of the church ( never see one like this) with nice roofs made of iron?, tiles?

The church is located in a beautiful green area with the pine trees nicely framing the tower and with the mountain peaks and the blue sky as a splendid backdrop.

le tue ultime foto proposte hanno dei soggetti molto interessanti oltre ad essere piuttosto curate nella composizione e nell'esecuzione in generale.
Questa non fa eccezione e si preesenta ben calibrata nella composizioone e con colori che ben si accostano tra loro.
Ottima l'illuminazione e buono il contrasto.

This is a beautiful and such unique structure, and the very reason I love Trekearth, to enjoy such architecture from around the world that I would never get to see. The slightly off centre composition is a great idea allowing that beautiful blue sky to shine through and add a lovely extra amount of color into the scene. Great shot, thanks

this is a very interesting building and your point of view and composition make it look very imposing. You've made excellent use of the vertical frame, the landscape surrounding the church complements the composition in a very agreeable way. Nice lighting on this interesting church, something new in the roofing and dome. A wonderful shot with impeccable colour, detail and also the shadow across the church, and your choice of lens is spot on angle and make me wake up to the value of colour. That structures really stand out so superbly against the rich blue background. An impressive shot so very well exposed and this does justice to its grandeur. Splendid, and TFS.
