there is something exceptionally attracting in those orthodox ceremonies... i do love the smell of the smoke in the churches, i do love all those traditional and most solemn dresses of the priests... you feel God around you, there...

I like Jerzy his note. Could have been a catholic mass as well reading his note :-). But I agree that these orthodox masses have even more holiness around them ;-).

Nice capture of priests while they concentrated to Easter resurrection. I liked blue background and their shining costumes. Building single eye contact, candles especially the bulb at top is really eye catching. Congratulations. Have a nice weekend.

dora, this is a perfect match with the motto of treakearth: learn about the world through photography ;) a distinct shot displaying some ritual in a holy place and I agree with Cath that there seems to be differing levels of concentration among the priests, which makes the shot even more interesting.
