Photographer's Note

Art Thing.. in the garden of the (locally) famous Cantacuzino Palace in Busteni, Valea Prahovei, there are a number of modern art installations, such as this.According to the plate (partially visible in the photo) artist Agnesia Petrova titled this piece "Wind". So yes, if you ask me what that is, I will quote somebody you surely know : The answer my friends is blowing in the wind...
Technical notes: this is my old but nice Nikon d5300, and the lens I borrowed.. it appears sigma since I did not want to update profile with lenses that ain't mine.. but this is the Nikkor 10-20 light zoom. It's stabilized! It weighs nothing! It costs .. well, not a lot for a wide lens! But your camera must be newer..on the old style thingies, before the 5300 and the 7200 or the 3300 this lens does nothing: no AF, no exposure, no nothing- it's the new style.. For the newer cameras there's a software update.. and then it works.Best served with the last or the one before last-generation Nikons..aka 3400,3500, 5500, 5600, 7500 and the like. Does jack* on D3s or D300, or .. sorry folks. For all those great cameras of the past (and I have some back to the original D 100) go for the Sigma 10-20 and be ready to carry a lot. This new lens weighs next to nothing. Special thanks to my brother-in-law and his beautiful D3500/10-20 kit :)
