I have an english friend. She is absolutly crazy about the Bucegi Mountains. She is actually complitly in love with them :)
Yesterday we excaped Bucharest for a short breath of fresh aer ...somewhere above the clowds.

cand am vazut cerul asta mi-am adus aminte de o melodie a unei formatzii de demult cred ca formatzia se numea SFINX iar melodia "un cer violet"
foarte fain cerul surprins de tine, cu foarte multe tipuri de nori :))

A fine title for this picture which indeed reminds me some very nice moments on other mountains... By the way, "Above the clouds" was the theme of my very first picture on TE !
Well let me create this theme...

I'd love to trek in these mountains. I heard a lot about Bucegi and their beauty. Here, a nice example. Natural curves are well lit, shown in good clarity against interesting sky.

If not the clouds, it would look like a desert. Nice colors and patterns of the clouds. Mountain top looks very empty, but it is supposed to be like that... Well done, cheers - Vilius
