Photographer's Note

The first rain in autumn 2020.

A view through a small kitchen window, on the roof, green trees and a rainbow on the first rainy day this fall.
Rainbow is a visual effect that the eye experiences when it observes the refraction of sunlight through tiny water drops, most often after rain. The light rays then decompose into their basic components, forming a strip of different colors. The colors in the rainbow make up a continuous spectrum with red on the outside and purple on the inside of the bow, but are traditionally commonly referred to as red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. The rainbow sometimes occurs on a cloud, when the Sun is low in the sky and its rays are refracted and reflected on icy air crystals.
