Obicno ne dolazi do povreda u toku borbi, jer rogovi preuzimaju i amortiziraju silinu udaraca. Takodje ih stiti i debela koza i lobanja.

Domestic sheep on the river bank.

A view of the bank of the Velika Morava river in Cuprija, near the Zuca bridge, with sheep.
Sheep (lat. Ovis) is a genus from the family of hollow-horned animals (Bovidae), i.e. the subfamily of goats and sheep (Caprinae). In addition to domestic sheep, this genus also includes wild sheep.
Sheep are stockier than other ruminants, and their horns are usually bent back and spiral. Sheep have scent glands on their heads and feet. Rams (males) can sense that females (sheeps) are ready to mate based on their scent, and they mark their territory by leaving their scent by rubbing against their moans. Like other ruminants, they have a stomach consisting of four chambers.
Domestic sheep are raised for meat, milk and wool.
Sheep are social animals and live in groups called herds. In this way, they protect themselves from predators. When the weather is bad, they huddle together and thus manage to keep warm. Herds of sheep are constantly on the move to find new pastures and more suitable habitat with the change of season. In every herd there is a leading ram.
Rams fight each other to establish dominance and for the right to mate with females. Usually, there are no injuries during fights, because the horns absorb and absorb the force of the blows. They are also protected by a thick skin and skull.
