Photographer's Note

this isn't some castle, but army garrison in Nis, not sure how army calls it today. It was built in between two world wars period, for army purposes in Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenians, 1929 renamed to Kingdom of Yugoslavia.
Today, building has status of an architectural monument protected by law, so soldiers are complaining they are freezing during cold winter months because it is impossible to do any reconstruction and install central heating system. So if you serve the army in Nis, pray not to serve it here :)
btw, building is in the front of central railway station.
