Stara masina za sivenje.

Karlsruher Georg Haid i Carl Wilhelm poceli su radionicom za popravku masina za sivenje, 14. Aprila 1860. godine.
Godine 1862. godine napravili su prvu masinu za sivenje.

Masina za sivenje je u kuci prijatelja, oko 70. godina, sada krasi klub.
Masina je ispravna i dobro radi.

Old sewing machine.

Karlsruher George Haid and Carl Wilhelm started a workshop to repair sewing machine, 14 April in 1860. year.
Year in 1862. years, developed the first sewing machine.

bellissimo reperto storico, pensa che in un ristorante qui in Toscana, ci sono i tavoli fatti completamente da vecchie macchine da cucire.
Ricordo ancora quando mia madre lavorava con questo tipo di macchinario.

Fantastic piece of an antique, Pavle.
A real sawing machine from the time electricity was not in use.
Tell ypour friend to keep it, its a jewel.

Hello Pavle,
This is an original composition but very instructive. This is a lovely piece of engineering and design, so carefully made that it can be used after 70 years. The computers made today usually break down, or become outdated, in less than 5 years. I like this photo very much.

Hello Paja,

These old sewing machine, does my think to my grandmother more than 60 year ago, very short after WAR II.
We see not everyday these type machine on TE.
Excellent captured, nice presentation.

Lijepo je vidjeti takvu važnu stavku, tako star i još uvijek radi. Vidim ove vrste strojeva povremeno, ali obično su pretvorene u komadima namještaja za barovi i pubovi. Radije bih vidjeti ih još uvijek radi.

Hello Pavle,

You're capturing well the sewing machine by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the classic sewing machine with simple, elegant and beautiful design in seventy years old. It's so functional machine necessary to our life. Nowadays, people don't use well it, however it gave much role for clothes-making in the past. It looks loke the crystal of wisdom useful to the life produced while machine civilization developed. It's interesting in #WS body and box as an art work.

A very good capture of this machine that was quite revolutionary when it was new. My grandmother had one like this. A very nostalgic picture.

A great "show and tell" piece. My mom used to have a 1940's Singer. A good photo remember the days when sewing was a commonplace event.

This is really amazing thing of the past - I remember vividly my mom's hand operated table type 'Singer Machine' in the '50s - still in good working order! - they tough and made to last. Thsk for sharing what a classic old sewing machine rendering a kind of nostalgic mood with enough details, sharpness, colours and a pleasing contrasts. A pleasing capture and thanks for sharing this unique collectible stuff. Congrats.

A little bit of nostalgia and a reminder of the past when things were made to last and could be repaired not like today's throwaway culture. Lovely presentation of the old treadle sewing machine showing many of the fine details. Very nice.

Hello Paja,

Yes, that's a beautiful thing. My mother had a very similar sewing machine, which has been passed through several generations in her family.

This picture will awake memories, makes me a little thoughtful, Paja! When my parents house has been sold, even this old machine was given away. That is life. Sometimes things disappear from the lives of the people, burst like soap bubbles, and only memories remain.

Lovely testimony of the past ! I remember watching my mother and grandmother using this kind of sewing machine, but here in France at the time, they were all of the American brand "Singer" !

I remember this and I used one when I was little, the new one with electric goes so fast it scares me :)

Hi Pavie, I found this magic old sewing machine in your photo gallery. Wow, this is old and rusty but not ugly. I guess after all these working years it is time to retire. Great light and colours along with details and sharpness. Beautiful captured. Thank for sharing
