Photographer's Note
Below Golica mountain, Karavanke, in May fields suddenly turn white again, as if snow fell. But it's not snow. It's thousands and thousands of narcissus, flowers, which in abundance grow on these slopes for centuries. But it's not self obvious that so many of them will be seen also in future. In the recent past, when farmers were cutting grass on these slopes regularly, there were many more flowers too. Today, only in some regions you can still see broad slopes, covered with them. As tourists come below Golica in thousands to see this phaenomenon, we can hope that narcissus flowers will stay and prosper there also in future.

Zdravo Vid, torej je res da so letos narcise priše prej kot po navadi. lepa slika predvsem zaradi dobrega položaja in odlične kompozicije z kozolcem v ozadju. lepe barve v kontrastu zeleno belo in skratka zaslužene pohvale.

Fajn kompozicija, drevo, kozolec in hiša lepo poživijo. Bistvo so pa seveda narcise.

Hello Vid!
This one is a lovely spring photo. Yes, the rich slope with the narcissus really looks like having taken a heavy snow,how beautifully they are arranged on the green grass. The tree and the charming cottage are also well placed, leading the eyes to the village on the corner. I like this a lot. Cheers,
