*mystical morning II*, a photo from Gorenjska, Ouest

Photographer's Note

Beautiful Christmas morning at Sorsko polje (Sorsko field) near my home. I photographed the scene before the sun was up and the resulting pastel colours I really like.

Kozolec (in slovenian language) or hayrack is a Slovenian national symbol, mostly present in Gorenjska parts of this beautiful country. Becouse here is a lot of rain, people decided to make this structure to protect the hay for own cows or sheeps.

I really fell in love with these hayracks because they add character to the beautiful slovenian alpine landscape and also offer superb photo opportunities.

Ah yes, I remmeber those traditional hey racks around Kranj. Interesitng feature, and very good use made of it in the compo. Good lighting too.

Bonjour Denis,
trés beau ce dégradé de couleurs.J'aime aussi cette empreinte de pas dans la neige en bas au premier plan,qui est comme une invitation à rentrer dans l'image.Excellente composition.

Ezcellent shot! First of all, the colour is beautiful, with the warm yellow/organge of the sky contrasting nicely with the cool blue snow. The hayrack is perfectly positioned, and the footprints add a nice touch. Well done!
