Photographer's Note

The one of last days of superb weather in autumn. I walked by path near beach and i saw very good POV for that shot.

The Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma-it was built in Gothic,on the site of a pre-existing Arab mosque.The construction was started in 1229 and finished in 1601.
Designed in the Catalan Gothic style but with Northern European influences, also Antoni Gaudí had invited to some changes in cathedral. But he has got problems with contractor,and project was abandoned.

Un beau point de vue sur cette imposante cathédrale et ses nombreuses flèches au-dessus des contreforts. Sa situation au bord de l'eau est magnifique. Belle lumière. Bravo.

This cathedral is grand looking. The nice thing is that there are palm trees surrounding it. The sky is crispy blue. It was surely a pleasant day.

Hello Bartlomiej,
You show us this cathedral from an unusual angle with the towers at the other side.
This POV however allows a nice lead-in with the road going downhill to the water and a beautiful inclusion of the palmtrees at both sides of the cathedral.
The stone colour of all the buildings is nice in contrast with the bright blue sky.
