Banys Àrabs- Arab Baths
Between 902 and 1229, Palma de Mallorca was under Islamic control and was known as Medina Mayurqa=City of Mallorca.
The Baths were constructed in 11th century. The house (Byzantine origin) with two small room was adopted for baths and was used Romans twelve columns for the cupola. The main room of baths is a cupola with five rounded holes for daylight (was 25 but they were covered). These baths are identical to those which existed in other Islamic cities, and were copied from the Romans.

Bonsoir Bartlomiej
Beau point de vue sur ce bâtiment bien éclairé. J'aime bien la présence des pots de fleurs le long du mur et de l'arbre fleuri. Très belles couleurs. Bien fait.
