Cathedral Tower, a photo from Toledo, Castilla-La Mancha

Photographer's Note

I like this shot of the Cathedral tower in Toledo. The Cathedral is the home of the Primate of Spain, and therefore is the most honored of the Spanish cathedrals. From the outside it doesn't look as spectacular as the cathedrals in Salamanca or Segovia --not to mention the one in Sevilla!--, but inside it is splendid.

To get the full height of the tower I had to duck down in one of the infamously narrow Toledan streets that leads towards the cathedral. The building on the right adds a nice touch of color while the building on the right is completey in shadow.

Any suggestions for improvement are welcomed!

Hola Herbert,
Me ha gustado el punto de vista de la catedral de Toledo, la verdad es que es difícil sacar fotos desde ese punto debido a la luz, que es muy fuerte. El trabajo es bueno, pero la falta de nitidez hace que la foto salga un poco deslucida. A mi me pasaba al principio, pero con unos retoques se pueden mejorar mucho. Te mando un workshop para que te hagas una idea.

Hola Herbert:
Hace muchos años estuve en Toledo y cuando ví la catedral, tan metida entre calles estrechas, pensé que era imposible tener el espacio suficiente para hacer una bueno foto de ella. Tú supiste buscar el lugar adecuado para conseguirlo lo que es el mayor mérito de esta foto.
Cómo cosas que se pueden mejorar, veo demasiado negro a la derecha. Por la izquierda también se puede cortar algo de foto. Finalmente, cómo te dijo Javier, la foto se puede enfocar algo más. Yo siempre recomiendo leer el artículo que se puede encontrar en un link (enlace) en este mismo sitio en About->FAQ->punto 9 "Understanding shaperning".
