Photographer's Note
A quiet shot of the cloister in the Catedral Vieja of Salamanca.
Salamanca is a doubly graced city since it has both an "old" and "new" cathedral. The "new" one --in spectacular Spanish gothic style-- was built attached to the old romanesque cathedral. The original cathedral lost a small part of its construction, leaving almost the entire thing intact.
The old cathedral has a series of gorgeous chapels in its inner cloister. Here is the cloister walk showing the doorways to the chapels. Along the walls are sepulchres of famous salmantinos.
Last, I apologize for the poor quality of the photo --I took it with an old Olympus which produced very grainy photos. But given the theme, perhaps the graininess enhances the image. Let me know.

You are right: the quality of the image is no the best.
But if we see the composition is very correct (and also I think that is a good idea use the light that enters in the right side). Perhaps would be better if you crop the photo (the corner of the cloister that we see is so dark...).
Crop the photo and change a little the brightness.
Overcoat, thank you for show to us this little place of Salamanca.
