The New Year begins, a photo from Barcelona, Catalogne

La foto que presento está tomada en los primeros minutos del nuevo año 2007, a las 0:05 h, y es una imagen que recordaréis porque ya presenté otra de este bello edificio, la Torre AGBAR del arquitecto Jean Nouvel, para el Tema de Didi “The Place where I live”.

En esta ocasión, la iluminación del edificio fue diferente para celebrar la llegada del Año Nuevo, con muchos cambios de color y mucho dinamismo, y decidí volver a tomar la foto desde el mismo punto de vista que la anterior, pero con una focal más larga para cerrar el plano y captar mejor la belleza y la espectacularidad de esta gran obra de la arquitectura contemporánea, con unos colores distintos a los habituales.

En el WORKSHOP se puede ver la iluminación normal que se recuperó pocos minutos después, a las 0:09 h.

The photo that I present is taken in the first minutes of the new year 2007, at 0:05 h, and is an image that you will remember because already I presented other one of this beautiful building, the AGBAR Tower of the architect Jean Nouvel, for Didi's Theme " The Place where I live ".

In this occasion, the lighting of the building was different to celebrate the arrival of the New Year, with many changes of color and very much dynamism, and I decided to return to take the photo from the same point of view that the previous one, but with the longer focal one to close the plane and to catch better the beauty and the showiness of this great work of the contemporary architecture, with a few colors different from the habitual ones.

In the WORKSHOP it is possible to see the normal lighting that recovered a few minutes later, at 0:09 h.

My best wishes of prosperity, peace and happiness for this new year to all the TE friends.

No savia res del possible canvi de color de la torre. Però és dinàmic (jocs de llums que es mouen) o només una composició o una altra? M'agradaria molt saber-ho. Bon any nou!

Sí que me acordaba de esta foto y de este edificio (que todavía no he visto al natural, hace demasiado tiempo que no voy a Barcelona!!). Tienes razón, la focal larga concentra la atención, permite su comparación con el edificio, tan pequeñín parece, que tiene a su izquierda. Me gusta también como se recorta a contraluz el edficio que está entre la torre y nosotros. Recibimos el año con luces, esperemos que estas nos acompañen siempre. Un abrazo, amigo.

What I like about this is the different qualities of light: the brightly lit tower, the more subtly lit dome and the black silhouette of the foreground building. Great shot and a wonderful celebration of the beginning of 2007.

Muchas gracias por tu bonita tarjeta de buen año. La iluminaciòn de este edificio è estupenda, y debìa ser visto de largos.
Tu hiciste una buena obra con las fotos diferentes de l edificio. No es facil staccar una foto de luz de largos! Tu tenìas un tripode?
Este arquitectura me recuerda del " ghirkin " en Londra. Me pregunto si el arquitecto es lo mismo.

En Espagne il y en a un qui eu la même idée qu'un autre architecte qui a construit un building à Londres (va voir ma dernière..:).
Ceci dit même s'il y a des ressemblances, j'aime bien la tienne aussi parce qu'elle à été prise le soir et que j'aime bien les photos de nuit également..!
Belle lumière et jolie couleur en font une belle photo.

Estuvistes ahi pocas horas despues de nosotros. Tambien vimos como cambiaba la iluminacion. Entendiendo que no era facil hacer esta foto porque los colores cambiaban tan rapidos y es por eso que salen blancos y con moviemento. Me gusta tu punto de visto con a chiminea.

Con retraso pero no quería dejar pasar la oportunidad de comentar esta fotografía, hasta ahora no había reparado en ella, sin duda un buen tiro donde este edificio tan colorista es el dueño y señor de la escena, el formato vertical es al mas apropiado y junto a la composición crean una atmósfera muy acertada para recibir el año, creo recordar que esta vista la veías desde tu casa ¿no?

Esta composición te quedó fantástica con la torre parcialmente cubierta por otro edificio. La otra torre que se ve, no se cual es, pero acompaña muy bien. Bien hecho amigo.
