Hi family

Hi to everyone from the roof of the masterpiece of Antonio Gaudi: the Casa Milà, also known as "la Pedrera" (1906-1910).
Here the chimneys are the main carachters, but also at the background you can see the Agbar Tower.
The chimneys here look mask. And they, very modern when they were built, make a very interesting contrast with the even more futuristic Agbar Tower.

Finally, in the WS you can see the student.

This is really good to have a close up to the Gaudi work. I like it. And the other tower on the background is also excellent. Barcelona must be a terrific city. Well done.

¡Te están dando mucho juego estas máscaras tan bellas! Realmente les sacas partido, esta es muy buena. Me gusta mucho la composición, el modo en que destaca el primer plano a la izquierda, dejando mucho aire en la imagen. Que además aparezca la otra torre, es todo un lujo. Muy buena foto, Sergio. Muy bien, me gusta mucho. Los colores y definicion están muy bien, asi como el pov. Interessante aquella nube por encima de la chimenea.

Two kind of future,two visions.contrasting in some way,because of the perspective of the period they were conceive.I prefer Gaudi's as they have a human stature.
Good work in presenting these two icons from Barcelona.

Desde luego, la chimenea esta con el cielo está muy bien así como el contraste con el otro icono (muy de moda últimamente) de la ciudad. Buena idea.

El WS bueno? Hombre, la rata aparece demasiado... :P

Good and interesting composition Sergio, compliments, the only thing are the distracting antennas and the roofs of the city, but you can't remove they :) Anyway this and the other are good images and it's nice to see "Coco in action", you are a good group of friends.

Hola Sergio, very good couple of shots from this wonderful place. As far as I'm concerned, you could both post a hundred of pictures from here ;-) I like very much the interplay bettween the two towers, but I think I even like more the ws, with Carlos: the colors are spectacular and I love his shadow on the chimney. Muy bien!

Me parece muy buena, por su composición con la contraposición de las dos torres, por los colores y la luz.

Hola Sergio,
The angle is excellent here to combine these two landmarks of Barcelona, it is amazing how these chimneys look like medieval knights ! The light is good on it to warm the colors and help it stand out from the rest of the frame.

This is a great pic of this extraordinary architecture. This architect's work still looks fabulous after all this time and I'd love to see some of it myself one day.
Your photo captures the chimney well and the contrast of colours in this beautiful composition is particularly nice. I'm also impressed with your use and management of the light in this scene.

The light here is fantastic; the chimney seems to really stand out in 3D with fantastic shadows and highlights. The composition is perfect to include the Agbar Tower in the distance. I like the WS too and it could be used as a main post. There is a theme I think for TE photographers at work.

Que guay este imagen con una luz tan bonita.
No tuvimos tiempo volver a la Pedrera pero descumbrimos la Torre Agbar que es precioso como la fuente cuando hay cambio de colores.
Que suerte que tuvisteis algun nube :-)
La forma cuadrada le va muy bien.

Hola Sergio,
hoy tocas mi fibra sensible con esta mezcla de estilos, Gaudí versus Nouvel, el genio del primero contra la originalidad del segundo.
La chimenea de Gaudí es una obra de arte en sí misma, tiene un gran impacto visual y tu foto la recoge en una situación de iluminación directa que da bonitas sombras para agudizar sus voluptuosas aristas. La torre Agbar no hace falta que te dé mi opinión, me encanta.
Buen homenaje a Carlos en tu WS, también una foto magnífica.

This is a good shot of this momument. The framing on the left hand side works well as it allows us to see many more buildings in the background. Nice work.

Me gusta el conjunto de elementos de esta imagen y en formato cuadrado mas aun, La torre y la cheminée se compenetran perfectamente, montrando dos estilos de arquitectura totalmente distintos.

Me gusta el color de la foto, la cimenea es fenomenal en si todas las obras de Gaudi me apasionan y esta casa es de mis favoritas.

Hello Sergio,
Good detail of the chimney, which looks like a mask, as you said, and the view over the city. On the left side of the photo, I like the natural frame, around the edifices, created by the sculptured arch. Agbar tower from afar looks good among the older buildings. Nice luminosity, colors and framing.
