The Parc de la Ciutadella is a beautiful urban park that was constructed on the occasion of the Universal Exhibition of 1888, when the mayor of Barcelona, Francesc Rius i Taulet, was ordered its design to Josep Fontseré.
It has a surface of 17 hectares and occupies the former citadel that Philip V constructed in 1718 to dominate the city after the Succession war.

In this photo I caught a couple of tourists sat in a bench of the park, while they were looking for something in a map, a very habitual fact when people is visiting a city that they not know.

I wish to all of you a Happy New Year, full of health, peace and well-being.

El Parc de la Ciutadella es un bello parque urbano que fue construido con motivo de la Exposición Universal de 1888, cuando el alcalde de Barcelona, Francesc Rius i Taulet, encargó su diseño a Josep Fontseré.
Tiene una superficie de 17 hectáreas y ocupa la antigua ciudadela que Felipe V construyó en 1718 para dominar la ciudad después de la Guerra de Sucesión.

En esta foto capté a una pareja de turistas sentados en un banco del parque, mientras buscaban algo en un mapa, un hecho muy habitual cuando se visita una ciudad que no se conoce.

nice the snapshot with the couple to try to find its destination through the park.An interesting image that complete it from the high tree.The excellent light and colour management enhance even re the beauty of the image.

Très joli ce parc, j'aime bien les ombres qui se dessinent sur le sol. Le couple de touristes anime la scène, le format vertical est bien choisi.

Marelous time to spend in the park, spring light through the trees and womnderful ambiane.
The couple taken advantage of these conditions, and you were in th right place on perfect timing.

Hola guapa,
me gusta esta escena típica en lugares turísticos como este bonito parque, y el simbolismo que le has dado relacionado con la consulta del mapa por parte de esta pareja de visitantes.
Eso es algo que hacemos habitualmente cuando visitamos lugares que desconocemos.
La luz primaveral y las sombras de los árboles creaban una atmósfera muy agradable, y los colores están espléndidamente captados.
Bonita foto, ésta no te la van a eliminar, seguro.

Hola amiga mia.
Una composicion sencilla, pero muy hermosa con esta variedad de arbolado, sus sombras dan un bonito grafismo en el piso, mientras que la pareja pone un interesante toque de grafismo.
Magnífica tanto la luminosidad como la nitidez, para unos bonitos colores muy naturales, el marco patente de la casa exquisito.
Salud, amor, disfrutar de las pequeñas cosas.... todo lo mejor os deseo para el Nuevo Año 2016.
