Mosque - Cathedral of Cordoba
It is also known only as the Mosque of Cordoba or Cathedral of Cordoba and is located in the city of Cordoba, in the Andalusia region in Spain. Date of the tenth century, when the city of Córdoba reached its apogee under the rule of Emir Abderramão III.
At that time Cordoba was the most prosperous city in Europe, eclipsing Byzantium and Baghdad in the sciences, culture and arts. By this time it was also the most populated city in the world. The Cathedral is an example of the fusion between the Christian and Islamic culture. The Mosque of Cordoba was built by Adul Rahama I in 780
