A life which should have been filled with sorrow and sadness with all those dead in his family. But somehow Gaudi managed to gave life, color and magic to everything he touched .

Casa Batlló, reformed between 1904 and 1906 in Passeig de Gracia in Barcelona, is the most emblematic work of the brilliant Catalan architect Gaudi gave Casa Batlló a facade that is original, fantastical and full of imagination like everything he designed.

Within the city, it is known by various nicknames – the house of the bones, the house of the masks, the house of the yawns, and the house of the dragon..

The house, now a museum, is open to public, both for cultural visits, and for celebrating events in its splendid modernist function rooms.

The photo was taken in one of the main rooms that open to the street by means of incredible stained glass window. The ceiling of the central room is a flat sky that worms a whirlpool refers as is common with Gaudi to the idea of generation of nature.
