Waiting....., a photo from Barcelona, Catalogne

Photographer's Note

With this photo taken on arriving at the zone of the W Hotel, I break a bit with my last images of architecture, in order to centre myself on this alignment on a station of the Bicing, a system of public transport based on bicycles, which it works in Barcelona.

There was a good graphical effect in these bikes aligned perfectly in their supports, and I looked for an inclination of the framing for to place the wheels and its shades, parallel to the base of the picture.

Con esta foto tomada al llegar a la zona del W Hotel, rompo un poco con mis últimas imágenes de arquitectura, para centrarme en esta alineación en una estación del Bicing, un sistema de transporte público a base de bicicletas, que funciona en Barcelona.

Había un buen grafismo en estas bicis alineadas perfectamente en sus soportes, y busqué una inclinación del encuadre para situar las ruedas y sus sombras paralelas a la base del cuadro.

Dobar dan-popodne.
Vrlo interesnatna i lep pogled na praking bicikla ...
Dobra ostrina snimka, kontrast, perspektiva i prikaz lepim bojama.

Très bonne idée d'avoir utilisé ce cadrage, qui est parfait pour créer un effet graphique du meilleur goût.
Les bicyclettes attendent sagement leurs futurs locataires.
J'aime beaucoup cette composition avec cette lumière et le jeu d'ombre des roues.

Hello Josep,

Nice diagonal perspective with lovely red colors of the bicycles. I like this tilted image where those palm trees form nice acute angle with these bicycles. The gray sky makes a nice color contrast. The image is sharp with nice depth.

Ordinary mundane subjects seen from diff perspective creating good tilted graphism to draw attention. The bright colors and repeated patterns anchor the eyes rendering excellent depth as well. lot the bicycles waiting for a lot of riders.I like the well chosen POV with the parked bicycles to create a beautiful texture and an adorable optical effect.
The rotating frame with the trunks of the palm trees on the upper left corner of the frame,make it even more fascinating.Well done my friend.

I like the perspective and tilt in this image that suits the vibrant atmosphere of Barcelona. I remember taking lots of pictures of these lines of bikes - they seemed to be everywhere. Very well photographed and framed.

i'm actually very impressed with this one.
For myself, if i walked pass these bikes, i probably wouldn't have photographed them b/c all photo's look the same of this subject - until now.
Love how you angled the scene so the tires run along the bottom. and yes, i actually feel dizzy viewing it!

Hola Josep,
Composiciòn muy original de estos "bicing", con la inclinaciòn permitendo que se vea la linea gràfica de las bicicletas urbanas.
Funziona bien el sistema en Barcelona ? He añadido tu foto al tema de grupo "Velib' Velo'v" que reagrupa este tipo de bicicletas por toda Europa, y tambien una en Australia.
Io puse una foto de "Bicloo" en Nantes, pagina 2 del tema. "Bicloo" es una palabra jergal por "Bici" en francès.

Esta se me habia pasado, es una composicion muy creativa y ciertamente original, sobre todo por este plano endiagonal, bonito grafismo tambien con la secuencia de bicis y las palmeras delfondo.
En conjunto la imagen resulta espectacular, impecable en cuanto a perfecta luminosidad, nitidez y bonita gama de colores. Buen trabajo amigo mio, excelentemente presentado.
