Photographer's Note

Carlos (cjmm ) gave me the idea to post this one ....
out of the home town of Carlos (coco)

Some art (graffiti ?) I discovered close to the Placa de Josep Carner (thanks COCO). There had been three walls sprayed very carfully which gave me the impression the owner of the wall wanted to have some 'color'.
Up to you, if the other two will follow.

Le dessin est superbe et la photo aussi! C'est une bonne idée de photographier ces graffitis qui sont un art ephémère. Ton cadrage est parfait. Merci pour cette image colorée pour commencer cette journée qui s'annonce très grise ici à Genève.

I'm never sure whether I like street art or not. But this piece is quite effective, nice bright colours and a humourous image - definitely more art than graffiti this one I think.

Great colours in this street art. I like the way you have managed to fill the shot with it. I like street art like this ... what I don't like is when people simply sign their name in large coloured letters.

Hi Knut,
This is a stunning graffiti work that really should qualify for some kind of artistic award. Your presentation of the mural is dramatic, with the outlandish colours and graphics. What really makes this special though are the nicely alihned rectangular bricks/stones in the wall, which makes the scene look like a gigantic jigsaw puzzle. A very fine capture, Knut. Cheers.
