Hi to all the members of TE.

*** Series: People in Barcelona ***

Walking along Barcelona I met this man of white hair sat calmly in the University Square. I was sat to his side and I decided to capture the moment you shared it with all. This day Barcelona was enjoying of a warm spring day and I surprised the jersey of wool that was taking. I think that this gentleman had to spend a lot of heat.

You can see also a WS in color to compare. I have decided on the B*W to avoid the strong Sun that had in this moment.
I hope that they like.

Para mi gusto le falta algo más de contraste con el fondo.

La versión en B&W por supuesto mejor.

The B&W choice was a good one I think, because the colours of the jumper take our attention too much in the colour version. Nicely blurred background too. A tight crop on the right behind the man would have made a good alternative composition.

Another good peaople watching pic with the man placed to the right of the shot. Black and white works well again. A good quality image. Well done.

Me gusta mucho esta foto en blanco y negro, la captaste muy bien, me atrae mucho la expresion de su cara y las caracteristicas fisicas con su cabellera y barba blanca. Una pena el brazo del que esta detras y su zapato, distrae un poco la atencion. Me gustan las dos opciones, esta y la de color. Buen DOF.

I like your compo in B&W. As Kath had stated perhaps the colour of the sweater would have taken too much of our attention in case of colour. Good use of DOF. A small thing..there's a guy sitting facing our subject, on the other side. His legs & portion of arms is a slight botheration. Don't you think? I don't think you cud do anything about this though

Hola Sergio,
The B&W is defenately the best choice. I like his pose and the white hair and bear. I guess old people feel less the warm temperatures...The person behind him can be a little disturbing, but not too much and in a way I find it interesting...I also like the detail of the guy running in the left background - the rush contrasts with the calmness.

hello, I like this hombre:) beauty photo, I like how you took a photo:)really nice:) but still is looks like a spy photo:) try to be in touch with people, make a contact than take one, the best is not to take photos but this contact, You should know who is it:) than you will take much better photo:) becoz it will flow from you heart not only lens;) I hope that you are not angry;)

Hi Sergio, A well taken portrait of the old guy. I like the clarity, sharpness and well captured environment with this picture. I have to say to I enjoy the color version better, since it provides more information in the colored version.

Back in fonto one man run...also one white dress woman walk in harry...and in the midle the calm viejo thinging con trangilidad..the contrast is soo good like the contrast of B&W...perfect street portrait!!!GNGRS Nikiforos

Hola Sergio, este señor me recuerda a un personaje de la navidad. A un personaje de barba blanca y traje rojo. jejje. De todas maneras un buen ángulo mi amigo. no vi todavía la versión a colores, pero esta que estoy a ver me agrada mucho. Tanto en definición, colores como punto de vista. Un buen aporte al tema!

No me acaba de convencer esta foto.
El blanco y negro sí, pero no la composición.
Igualmente, buen intento.

nota: intenta, en la medida de la posible, vistas más frontales
