Photographer's Note

In the Cathedral of Valencia, just next to the Micalet is the fore door, call of Irons by the iron grate that surrounds the entrance vestibule. The Door of the Irons, that is looked like an altarpiece of concave form, measures more than 36 meters of height. When it was constructed tried to create the optical illusion of a greater sensation of space in a place really very small, since it was conceived to be seen from the narrow narrow street (of Saragossa) that finished in the same door. Today this street has disappeared when being high and mighty the place of Reina and the twisted form of the door in a great place is absolutely incomprehensible. If one enters the Cathedral by this door, we have, to the left, the entrance to raise the tower of the Miguelete. To the right, it takes us to a corridor to the chapel of Santo Caliz.
