Photographer's Note
Picture is taken at the Hultsfred rock festival in Sweden. The band Mustasch was playing and I stood in the crowd snapping pictures.
I caught the singer/guitar player Ralph Gyllenhammar headbanging just as the stage pyrotechnics went off behind him. I like the humour in the situation.
The concert was at 2.30 in the morning so it was rather dark so I had to use a fairly long exposure; hence the blur.
No work in Photoshop. Not even levels or USM. Just resizeing.

Nice capture. Considering the situation it is not strange that the photo is a little blurry. The firework behind the guitar player is quite well placed :-).

He should never have had a curry before the concert! That pyrotechnic is certainly strategically placed :-)
I like your picture, it really captures a rock concert, and as you say, the picture has a certain humour to it (though the humour I saw in the picture is probably not what you saw, or anyone else for that matter, my humour is somewhat base and low).
The only comment I can add is the picture may benefit from some cropping of the dark area at the bottom. Would also have been a little nicer if the awkward person in front hadn't put their head in the frame - but c'est la vie.

I suppose you didn't compose this one the way it came out but it certainly came out well. I love when you go through your pictures afterwards and discover things like this.
