Photographer's Note

As I was walking one day along the eastern side of Gamla stan, Stockholm's Old Town, heading north towards the city center, I saw these clouds towering over the district of Östermalm. I stopped to take a couple of photos.

Östermalm is the poshest district of Stockholm, home to a lot of rich people (and some with normal incomes), and the buildings seen in the distance are located along Strandvägen (Beach Road), the poshest street of the district where living is very expensive.

In front of the view of Strandvägen is the bridge connecting the mainland with the museum islet of Skeppsholmen.

In the WS is an alternative, vertical photo.

Map: view will show you approximately where I took this photo.
