Langwies viaduct on the Rhätische Bahn line between Chur and mountain resort town of Arosa. Note the location of the engine in the middle of the train.

The viaduct was built in 1912-1914. This arch bridge is made of reinforced concrete. It's total length is 287 m, main arch span 100 m and it rises 62 m above the valley floor.

Altogether the network of Rhätische Bahn has 384 km of railways. It has 114 tunnels (58 km in total), 582 bridges (15 km) and 42 galleries (3300 m).
