Bernina Express train from Davos to Tirano crossing Wiesen Viaduct.

Viaduct on the Rhätische Bahn line between Davos and Filisur was built in 1909. This concrete viaduct has total length of 210 m, main span 55 m and it lies impressive 88 metres above the Landwasser river. Steel made walk bridge next to track is obviously a later addition.

Hello Kari! Where on earth were you standing :))) You found a pol position as it seems. This IS a fantastic train ride I can only recommend. Great photo to show the pleasures to discover Europe by train. I just had my American friends visiting and they did not rent a car but did it all by train and bus instead. They loved it. Hello Kari,
I guess there are loads of subjects for photos when you're in Switzerland! just look around :) And there are many nice views with bridges and trains (I especially liked their trains!)... all you have to do is to aim and shoot :)
I like this perspective view where the train and the bridge seem to be integral parts of something "solid". Beautiful view, and, thanks to the red train, very lively scene :)

You must have been abseiling when you took this! ;D Great shot as the train almost fills the frame (width-ways anyway!)as it goes over the viaduct. The colour red does no harm at all to the composition.

Hi Kari, long time no comment. This grabbed from your recents, mainly because Ive been trying to work this trip into my schedule for the last 17 years (always too many other consderations), but I guess what I really want to do is drive allong the route to find fine Povs like this one. This is better than any publicity shot I've seen for it.
