View from Brienzer Rothorn towards southeast.

I've never thought about mountaineering, so it's nice that there's mountain tops reachable by cable car or like in this case by railway. That of course means that you are not alone there if weather is good. But most of the visitors don't climb the last about 100 meters ascend to the top at 2350 m. So there's at least relative peace, wonderful views, hiking paths etc. And when it's time to turn back a full service restaurant waits around the corner.

What a beautiful view from the top!!Very impressive colours indeed but I do feel the horizon colour is a bit dull and hazy here.

Bonjour Kari,

superbe image nature, l'utilisation du grand angle est convient parfaitement. Le fait d'avoir mis les deux personnes dans le cadre (à droite) nous donne toute la dimension de l'immensité.
On dirait que vous avez réduit le bruit sur une partie de l'image seulement (centre) ce qui lui donne un aspect étrange.

Hi Kari,
I have a lot of these pictures and am not always satisfied about them. Everytime i am up these i have to much hazy skies, something like on yours. I would like a bright and fresh view...probably hard to get.
I like how you placed the people in front, giving it a perfect scaling to the beautiful surrounding and the lines on the hills are also a big plus.

Very nice shot of switzerland, the green country. I dont know this part of the Alps, despite only 900km far from home. (very more for you...). Nice natural colors. I like the way you framed it with the two guys as foreground.

The mountain peaks seem to go on for ever. I like the people you were able to include in the foreground and all the pattern and detail in the nearest slopes.

il est grandiose ce spectacle de montagne.
La beauté de cette région est égale à celle des ALpes Valaisannes que j'ai visitées il y a quelques mois;
C'est paisible mais aussi ennivrant tellement c'est vaste.

Beautifully sharp landscape. The main picture is the front mountain and the hazy distant part does not take your eye away. The cottages in the valley help to give perspective of size.
