Photographer's Note
Tourism is a major source of income in Switzerland. And Swiss thoroughness is world famous.
These aspects combined means that it requires more than normal amount of disorientedness to get lost over there.
Blue ones are normal way signs. Browns are tourism related. Reds are for cyclists and yellow ones for hikers. And of course there's also a tourist info in every village.

This would be enough to get me lost. Very interesting shot with a good POV, very sharp and colourful. Well done.

Hello Kari
When I see so many directives, I close my eyes, say a prayer, and in most cases it goes well. Well composed picture.

Hi Kari,
Funny photo as the place looks a bit chaotic with all these signs. As contrast to all this support there is nobody around to be helped :) Good point of view.

EXCELLENT! I Love this!! So very very very much! It is so perfectly Swiss! I remember getting utterly lost when trying to get to a major event/concert in the mountains... it was pure hell :D
You've chosen and excellent POV and managed to show it just like it is while remaining visually attractive! Excellent!
TFS!

I love this one. I guess once one gets use to it, it's not so confusing but helpful. There's no reason to stop and ask for directions here.
Have you noticed the WC sign? ;p

Terve Kari,
LOL, you obviously found here the best angle to create the best possible confusing view out of this swiss quest for Ordnung ! And as if they had not enough signs, it's even repeated on the asphalt... Interestingly the WC points in the same direction as the cemetery, hope they have an efficient water draining ;-)
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves
P.S. you may afdd this one to the humour category as well !

Hi Kari,
Ha, ha, ha! I know exactly where this photo has been taken because I pass this place every once in a while. Good framing and a very instructive note too. I like the detail of the discrete WC sign on the left.
Have a nice day.

That's around 36 painted, printed, constructed messages if you include the road markings - you need more than one pair of eyes and a driving speed of 5kph to take it all in! At least I spotted the most important one - the WC straight away!! Well seen Kari.
best wishes KEv

Hi kari,
oh the precision of the swiss, i know that because some my family are swiss and boy do we have a laugh every now and again.
Excellent idea to use the signs in your composition with good emphasis on angle, pov and perspective. Well done.

Hi Kari,
This very nice, and maybe very Swiss.
After seeing this one I remembered one of mine (Going North) that I may add also to the theme(s).

I can't miss the way, can you? I'd also add the 'humorous' category. I like the way you observed this and were able to contain everything in one frame.
Compliments,

Dear Kari,
I have'nt seen this pic before so my comments are too late, sorry. But what a wonderful and ironic image of my home country you depict here, great! It has happened to me many times that I thought "the Swiss are sign-crazy" but here, you bring it to a humorous peak. By the way, the sign "Friedhof" means cemetery. Should a stranger be confused by all the signs and see no way out, Friedhof is a a last possibility.
Thanks for this!
My best wishes,
Dietrich

This is more fun than reading phone book directory...
Thanks God, you can always turn around after few kilometers, come back and read them again...And again...

Hi Kari,
Wow, one could get a headache at this intersection! So many choices. I was in Ireland in the early 80s and wore the map out because there were no route numbers and you had to be mindful of was town lied on the road to your destination. Wonderful depth from the winding hilly road with rich colors and fine details to this pretty puzzle.

Terve Kari,
Haa ha ha, exactly perfect guidance. You have captured this image with perfect composition as well as Swiss thoroughness. But, the sign of WC stands out most. This photo had been hidden in the favorite of my browser for a long time.
Have a nice day, Hisashi

Hello Kari, thank you for giving me this link, amusing & ridiculous, I get dizzy just looking at all the signs. Well seen.
Thanks
