Afternoon light at Lake Lungerer See near the town of Lungern in Central Switzerland.

Adjusted levels and increased a little saturation to compensate backlight haze.

very nice composition, the different tones of green, the smooth shape of the hill and the beautiful light, all very attractive. Also the leaves in foreground, although some more of them would have been even better. Anyway, very well done!

What a great picture, Kari! Lovely colours, and excellent light which creates a good separation of the foreground hill from the background. Good and "minimalistic" framing with the tree branches.

I have been here myself several times, the lake is indeed very beautiful to see in his green colour. You made this one perfect for an excellent esposure which is making all those green colours even stronger...perfect..!!!

I think the increased saturation works well here; the colours are wonderfully vivid. The hazy background only serves to concentrate our attention on the rest of the photo. The reflections are lovely too.

Hi Kari,
Amazing how nearly all the image basically comprises of shades of the same colour.A nice soft mood with the mist at back making the outcrop of land stand out.A good balance of land and water.The tree branches at front give depth to the image but maybe not enough to have a real impact.Nice work and a good evening.

Superbes couleurs et très belle lumière pour cette très très jolie photo. Seul le petit coin de ciel en haut à droite aurait pu être supprimé peut-être?

This view is strong in varieties of gree and lovely for that, with subtle reflections adding to the idyllic impression. I agree with previous comments about cloning away the leaves on the left.

Hi Kari,
This is really great! The colours really caught my eye and you did a nice job with you PP work. The haze that remains after your efforts to reduce it help give a sense of depth and still 'tone in' nicely with the trees, the (beautiful) green hill, and the lake. The imperfect reflection helps a lot here too. I find this pic to be very appealing.

Hi Kari, Beautiful shot.
Such nice vivid colours of vegetation. I mean, the grass on the island or well, atleast that hill in front, don't know if it's an island or only a small part of land, but okay, the grass is lovely green. Here in Holland we have such a sentence as : The grass of the neighbours is always greener, which means if you compare your situation to someone else's, for example that of your neighbours, there can often be a point to be jeaulous on. Maybe their grass is greener, or they have a garden more lovely than yours. Something like that :).

Also great colour on the water, lovely exposure and a nice composition. Can think about cloning the branches on the left away, or atleast the one in the uppercorner maybe, to me those distract a little. (More of them could be good though) But tastes can differ on this.

Outstanding sharpness and a lovely scene to watch, nicely enhanced by a black border, overall great work!

Hi Kari - it may be a simple promontory, but under this light, this colour combination has a striking appeal, I also like the leaves at the corners, not for everyone, but I think they add ineterest at the outer fringers and do not distract from the lake or the promontory.
