Winter Forest, a photo from Aargau, Ouest

Photographer's Note

Memories of last winter captured with the camera. The camera, good wewther with acceptable light are very important tool to capture winter moments.
During last winter I was trying to get some impressions of the beautiful winter season. Some are acceptable some not very good. It is not easy task to get very good images in presence of bright white snow and ice. This photo was taken in forest of Northern Switzerland.

Hi Miro,
It is a beautiful shot of early snow in the forest. I like the road with car's track that gave nice long perspective. The branches of trees covered with snow look lovely. The photo has good compo, light, colors and sharpness.

Wonderful sight of the snowy road.The whitening effect of the snow gives a unique feel to the trees and the muddy road.Great image ...lovely sight.

Well balanced the grey sky on BG of trees and good contrast of the snow along the forest road.
Looks muddy and wet. Nice winter scene, good clear view on, almost B&W...

Hi Miro
Snowy forest is so picturesque but it is bitterly cold! You're really making the most of your opportunities and there is so much snow piled up. It's nicely framed between tall trees with the dark path providing a contrast in colour, lead line and adding a focal point to the composition. Admire the exposure control - you are spot on as the predominance white or light tones in the image can actually cause the camera to darken the whole scene. A splendid snowscape with the impact of winter in true colours. Congrats
