Hello Roland,
A simple but very attractive composition. It is well balanced, the fence is a very good focal-point and the shadows are fantastic. The fence and shadows also create good depth across the wide, white field. The exposure is also very good.

Bonjour Roland,

I am a great fan of shadows and these are sublime!
The snow covering makes the perfect contrast against which to show these patterns.
The photograph is very well composed, the fence and patterns nicely off-centre and the tree line well placed on the thirds line.

Bonjour Roland,
A wonderful snow landscape with the large field of untouched snow. The surface is still perfectly smooth. The fence is well included and adds a wonderful pattern of shadows as well. Well spotted and captured.

Bonjour Roland,

Une bonne idée de prendre la clôture à neige sous cet angle, juste pour profiter des ombres sur la neige. On constate aussi qu'elle semble bien faire son travail avec la neige.

ho visto spesso foto come questa, ma di solito erano staccionate posizionate sulle spiagge, in questo caso si tratta dell'opposto.

from the small thumbnail gallery, I thought this was taken on a sandy beach :) Boy was I wrong! the key highlight are the shadows of course, they stand out so well. Nice to have the trees in the bg for depth, and the color in the sky is great too. good eye to spot this. cheers

Hello Roland,
I like this effect of the shadows on the fresh snow. The line of shadows and fence has a nice depth, and I like its placement in the frame, too.

Une si simples mais très belle composition. Malgré le royame de la neige, on est juste attiré par cette barrière, notamment l'ombre de la barrière, un effet extraordinaire.
Excellente lumière et contraste, ainsi que une parfaite netteté.
