Hello Nicolas,
A beautiful composition of the reflected tree with its distorted branches. The twig seen above the surface makes an interesting contrast, partly because it goes in the opposite direction from the reflection. I like the soft colours of the surface.

With your usual observational skills, you have noticed this stick and reflection, mimicking a stick insect, and set it in a beautiful b/g of an Impressionist pattern!
The composition is, as always, superb!

Bonjour Nicolas,

You have this wonderful ability to see beautiful things which most people would simply pass without a second look! And this is a perfect example in which the beautiful soft reflections of a sunlit birch tree on water is interrupted by the much sharper and more defined twig and its strong reflection.

So simple and yet so beautiful with glorious light and colours.

Bonjour Nicolas, the picture is 99% reflections with just that small piece of twig breaking the surface of the water.
An excellent observation, and an excellent composition.

Well-spotted and used photo opportunity. The blurred reflection serves so well as the canvas for this small branch flouting on the surface of the water.
