Hello Nicolas,
Another superbly simple and elegant composition, this time from the city instead of the countryside. The steps make it graphically interesting, and B&W was the natural choice for this. The man is of course necessary to make the composition come alive.

A very simple yet graphic image dominated by the long flights of stone steps while the man, standing at the bottom, makes his first tentative efforts to climb to the top!

I like the conversion to black and white with strong contrasts which works so very well for this photograph.

Nicolas, the man must be out-of-breath after climbing these steep stairs. It connects two streets. Fine colors, good sharpness, amitié.

Effective composition, as the man is just going to begin his climb.

Tu as bien capturé le début de l'action de l'homme. Il a tout un défi devant lui aux nombres de marches. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de l'escalier. Bonne journée.

A great vertical shot of the high stairs, completely empty but for the man at the bottom who is about to climb all those steps. Good narrow composition and the B&W highlights the contrasts nicely.

The placement & vertical framing work well that bring out the strong lines of the steep staircase and clear detail of the architecture. It's vivid with presence of the fig as a focal point with excellent the tonal range. A candidate for mono conversion with quite an impact. Well done
