Photographer's Note

Summer holiday action in S. Nazzaro, Ticino. Eastern shore of Lago Maggiore on the Swiss side of the border has wealthy looking villages on a narrow strip between the lake and mountain slope.

Motorship Milano just leaving the village was built in 1952 and has room for 350 passengers.
