Photographer's Note
Portrait of class Ge 6/6 electric engine of Rhätische Bahn. Nickname 'Baby Crocodile' refers to somewhat similar looking 'Crocodile' engines on the Swiss normal gauge network. These engines were built in 1925 and two of them are still in running condition available for tourist trains.

bonjour,

Terve Kari,
A good portrait for railway fans, and it was for sure the appropriate choice to turn it into sepia, I like also that we can see a bit of the mountainous environment of this baby-croc.
Have a nice day JY

Hello Kari,
You certainly like your trams and trains! I've seen you posting some before. I think I once saw a posting on the Rhatische bahn where the track was almost at a 45 degree angle! You need a big train to get up there.
Very nice and sharp posting! Sepia often gets a bit soft, but here you got a very nice sharpness. More a quad-tone feel than sepia. Nice!
Greetings,
Dennis

A great, straight forward train portrait with bl/w and a suitable frame to add to the feeling of nostalgia. I appreciate this post. So, thanks Kari!

Hello Kari,
The B&W is a good choice for such oldies. I like the shading of the frame.
Best regards - Franco

Hi Kari.
Excellent portrait with "old" atmosphere. The B&W contrasts are also lovely!

Well disposed detail of this famous engine Kari. The bw seems a good idea in the setting with the 'old time' framing.

Great (and grand, and big!) 1925 photo of the engine. Very good details. I like the frame also.
