The beauty & tele, a photo from Odeska, West

Photographer's Note

I shot it right in the center of Odessa in front of main railway station. I loved the contrast between the modern, stylish dressed and behaving women and the old-comunisticly- fasioned phone boxes. I could easily imagine her walking in Roma (or any other big city in the west of UE )and smoothly pulling out her mobile of her hand bag.
I'm just sorry that my Panasonic poorly copes with colors in weak light.

I agree with the words of your comment: beautiful contrast between the the old phones and the young lady. Maybe the white-balance of the picture can be better.

I like this compo a lot, one get the feeling you wanted to show : the contrast between the (over) fashionable lady and the decrepitude of the surroundings. About the strange colour of the skin, do you use some PP software ? Usually it can be corrected with those at least up to a certain amount.

Hola Rafael! Me gusta tu galería, y a pesar de lo que dices sí hay mirada artística en ella. Como por ejemplo en esta foto. Además del contraste entre los teléfonos destartalados y la chica tan "chic", me gusta el contraste de amarillo fuerte y azul (compañeros naturales). Como te han dicho ahí arriba, quizá debas ajustar el balance de blancos para que la piel no quede azulada. La composición es atractiva, pero la mejoraría (creo) no cortar la cabina de la izquierda; además así le darías un poco más de aire a la mujer, que aparece un poco justa (aunque bien colocada en un tercio).
